Our dental implant options
Single tooth implants
When a tooth is missing, a titanium post is inserted into your jawbone to act as a new root. After healing, a custom ceramic crown is placed to restore your smile. This method helps preserve bone and removes the need for a traditional bridge.
Implant‑supported bridges
If you are missing multiple teeth in a row, implant-supported bridges provide a stable and conservative option. Instead of depending on adjacent teeth, the bridge is anchored by two or more implants, which helps preserve bone and ensures a secure bite.
All‑on‑4® and full‑mouth implants
For patients missing multiple teeth or struggling with ill-fitting dentures, All-on-4® full-mouth implants offer a complete arch restoration with just four implant placements. Full-mouth dental implants ensure stability, comfort, and a natural look.
Bone grafts & sinus lifts
Some patients require extra bone volume before placing implants. Bone grafting strengthens areas of bone loss, and a sinus lift increases height in the upper jaw. These procedures help ensure the success and long-term stability of implants.
The dental implant process
Consultation & planning
Your journey begins with a comprehensive consultation to assess your oral health, take digital X-rays and CBCT scans, and discuss your goals. Our team will explain your options, address your questions, and develop a personalized treatment plan.
Implant placement surgery
Under local anesthesia and your chosen sedation method, the implant is placed into your jawbone. Most procedures take one to two hours, and thanks to advanced techniques, patients typically experience minimal discomfort.
Healing & osseointegration
Over the coming months, your implant will fuse with the jawbone through osseointegration, creating a stable foundation for your new tooth. During this time, we may provide a temporary restoration, so you can eat and smile with confidence.
Abutment & final restoration
After healing, an abutment (connector) is placed on the implant. We then attach your custom crown, bridge, or full-arch prosthesis. Once finished, you’ll have a fully functional smile that looks and feels natural.
Candidacy, risks & aftercare
Most adults with healthy gums and adequate bone density are good candidates for dental implants.
During your consultation, we will review your medical history and assess factors such as chronic illnesses and smoking habits that may impact your healing. Like any surgical procedure, risks include infection, nerve injury, or implant failure, though these are rare when the procedure is carefully planned.
After surgery, it is crucial to adhere to all post-operative instructions: eat soft foods, practice excellent oral hygiene, and attend regular check-ups. The long-term success of implants depends on daily brushing, flossing, and routine professional cleanings.
Affording dental implants
The cost of dental implants varies based on the number of teeth to be replaced, whether bone grafting is required, and the type of restoration selected. During your consultation, our team will provide a detailed estimate and discuss financing options such as *CareCredit®, Sunbit, or our in-house savings plan. We also accept most dental insurance plans and will help you maximize your benefits.
